The Alameda Quilt Guild meets once a month on the second Thursday of each month at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1323 Central Avenue, in Alameda, California.  The meetings start at 7:00PM and generally last about 90 minutes.  Guests are welcome to attend meetings for a nominal fee of $5.00.
The Alameda Quilt Guild Board meets once a month on the third Tuesday of each month.  The meetings start at 12:00 noon, and Guild members are welcome to join us by sending an email to alamedaquiltguild@gmail.com
A Guild is only as good as its members and being a small guild we need every member's help to continue. Click here for Volunteers needed  Connect Sally Mirault at sallymirault@comcast.net if you would like to sign up for a position.

Activities

The Guild holds monthly meetings with various activities such as presentations by speakers on topics in quiltmaking and textile arts, workshops and lessons, opportunities to share work, community outreach and offering quilters' resources in a friendly and fun atmosphere.  In addition, the Guild plans special events such as open sew sessions, workshops, quilting contests and retreats.

Newsletter

The Alameda Quilt Guild publishes a monthly newsletter, The Bridge.  The newsletter features timely information on upcoming guild events, recaps of past meetings, photos and quilters' resources.  Members are encouraged to submit relevant information that benefits guild members.

Community Outreach

The Alameda Quilt Guild encourages all of our members to create at least one quilt annually as a donation to a community organization.  See our Outreach Project page for more information. :
